The Boiler Inspection Preparation program is designed to prepare students for a career as a boiler inspector. A Certificate of Competency is required to be eligible to become a boiler inspector with most government and private agencies. Completion of this course prepares the student to begin a career in nondestructive testing that require knowledge of inspecting boilers.

PREREQUISITES
Prerequisite holder of a city of Detroit High Pressure Boiler Operator license (current or expired) or accepted experience recognized by city, state or federal government. Students must be working in the field to be eligible to take this course.
